Made with cow milk.
Process – Washed cheese curds mixed with fenugreek seeds, pressed and then brined. Golden yellow hue is brought about by annatto seeds.
Flavour Profile – Smooth paste with a gorgeous aroma of cumin. Aged for 3 months and above. Younger cheeses are milder while more matured ones are sharper. Natural edible rind.
Serving suggestions – Great snacking cheese. Best served with crackers/ bread, fresh fruits and jam on platters/ cheeseboards.
Pairing – Crisp white with younger milder gouda and dry red wines with sharper ones.
